    On their debut release, Michigan's Choke Chains featuring Tom Potter of Bantam Rooster and Dirtbombs fame and members of Chinese Millionaires and No Bails bring you two sides of the RNR coin. They start us off with a rude introduction by way of their self-titled theme, making us really feel the choke of their chains. The spitting vocals are nearly impossible to distinguish from the raw distortion of the guitars. On the flip, they channel more of their forefathers with some chugging Funhouse vibes in "Mayan Starship" and give us the chance to gasp for air.
